Your teacher

Hi, I’m Anneliese Wells, mother of two adults and lover of dogs, nature, cooking and gardening. Yoga and Mindfulness are instrumental in living the healthy and balanced lifestyle that I do my best to maintain amidst the stresses and strains of modern life.

I understand the challenges that arise at midlife when we are juggling work, family and our health while struggling with fluctuating hormones and the symptoms that impact our sense of self. It is at this time of life more than ever that we need to implement self care and compassion. We are always doing the best we can but sometimes we need a little help and I am here to give you that support.

It is an honour to witness the transformation that many of my students have experienced and I would love to work with you whether you are a complete beginner, someone struggling with stress or enjoying your second spring but prefer to take things at a slower pace.

Find out how Yoga and Mindfulness can help.

Anneliese connects gently to your soul with her empathy and compassion and this provokes some light-bulb moments and a real sense of being heard.

Classes at Birchwood Yoga are no longer taught in the studio but rather from my beautiful, airy attic space with views across the treetops!

I found Birchwood Yoga by chance and feel that I have been very fortunate to have done so. Anneliese’s studio is an oasis of calm and a complete antidote to the busy multi tasking week so many of us have to cope with.
